Short-term Study Tours in France

I’m going to talk about the money for
short-term study tours in France.

First, a necessary expense for going to this tour is about 420,000 yen. This expense has the fee of attending a lecture, the round-trip expense for going abroad, the insurance, the lodging expense, and the food cost, etc.

Next, I will talk about a scholarship. You will win a scholarship of 110,000 yen from NUFS
and the scholarship of 10,000 yen from campaign club. However, only French Section students can receive this scholarship. Britain and American Section students can’t receive it.

Next, I’m going to talk about you should bear the money.
In the French Section student case, they have to pay about 300,000 yen that subtract the scholarship from the necessary expense. In the Britain and American Section student case, they have to pay the necessary expense of 420,000 yen.
Moreover, you should prepare at least about 50,000 yen. The reason for personal expenditure and transportation are not included in necessary expense.

Travels -taxis-

First, I will explain about the system of a taxi fare.
For the medium-sized car, this base fare is 500 yen up to 1300 meters. Thereafter, this addition charge is added for 80 yen every 253 meters.
For the subcompact car, this base fare is 480 yen up to 1300 meters. Thereafter, this addition charge is added for 80 yen every 284 meters. These are the basic rates of the taxi of Nagoya city. In addition, it costs 200 yen every one car once when you hope for a meeting car.

Next, I’m going to talk about how to get on taxis.
First, you should go to a taxi stand. There is usually the taxi stand at the main station. The second, when a passenger approaches the Japanese taxi, get in the left-hand side passenger door which opens automatically. The third, if the door opens, you take the taxi, and please tell a destination for the driver. The fourth, when you get off, you confirm an amount of money, and please pay the fare that you used in a meter which is installed in the front seat. Finally, it is convenient when you prepare for the memo which you wrote down destinations in Japanese in advance, because you may not make yourself understand to most Japanese taxi drivers besides Japanese.

World Heritage Site

*Nazca Lines*

The Nazca Lines are
located in the Nazca Desert.

The Lines of plants and
animals were found out by
the archaeologist Paul Kosok on June 22,1939.

These are largely believed
to have been created by the
Nazca culture between
200 BEC and 700 CE.

There are hundreds of individual figures,
for example, humming birds, spiders, monkeys, dog, whale, lizerds and fish.

It is still wrapped in the mystery though
"the calendar theory of the celestial observation"
and "space alien's graffiti theory" have been found
as for the purpose that the Nazca Lines are draw.

Theme Park

Drayton Manor Theme Park

Good afternoon everyone. Our group is going to talk about Drayton Manor Theme Park. Do you know Drayton Manor park? It is in the UK, near Tamworth in Staffordshire. Our group is going to talk about The History of Drayton Manor park , Thrill Rides, Thomas Land, and Zoo.

First let me talk about the history of Drayton Manor Theme Park. Drayton Manor Theme Park opened to the public on October 16, 1949. It covers 280 acres of land, and is visited by over million people annually. In 2006, the park received two awards. For example, ‘Best UK Attraction’ awarded by Group Leisure and ‘UK Attraction of the Year’ awarded by Coach Tourism.

The theme park was built by George Bryan and his wife Vera Bryan as
an inland pleasure resort, and originally it was a normal park with tea rooms, boat rides and a pets corner.
However, the theme park is one of famous family theme parks at this moment.

There are many thrill rides in Drayton manor. The most popular thrill rides is Shockwave. It is the only stand-up coaster in Europe. It drops quickly and screws again and again!! It looks really exciting!! Of course other thrill rides look really exciting too. Fir example, Maelstrom, Stormforce, and G Force so on. If you know more detail, you should access their web page. You can watch movies of thrill rides there.

I will introduce to you the zoo at Drayton Manor Park. There are over 100 species animals and which are not seen in Japan. We can learn about animals more if we receive Discovery Centre. This session is integrated with a tour of Drayton Manor Zoo, and we can understand about all areas of animals, for example habitats feeding variety of life living things lifecycles and so on. Discovery Centre sessions start at just £3.50 per pupil with 1 teacher. In Japan about 700 yen. I recommend you go to the zoo in Drayton Manor with your family, if you marry and have your children.

I am going to introduce Thomas land at Drayton Manor Park! I think that everyone knows Thomas. This is the Thomas area. It was set in 6000 square meters and there are 12 wonderful rides, and an indoor play area and a shop filled with Thomas&friends Exibition because we can not only experience the original set as TV show but also have a ride on Thomas and go for a wild adventure on the Trucks Runaway Coaster! Neverthless Thomas fan or not, this area will present for you a really fun time.

No other theme park gives as much variety as Drayton Manor. If you go to the UK, you should go to the Drayton Manor Theme Park. Thank you for listening to our presentation. Do you have any questions?
